How models are picked
Do I have to choose a model myself?
No. ModelShifter picks the model for every task. You see which model did what and what it cost. You change the choice whenever you want.
Aren't cheaper models worse?
At the hardest tasks, yes. So ModelShifter does not send everything to the cheapest model. Most work is routine: reading, summarising, simple pages, small edits. Each result is checked, and a weak one is redone on a stronger model.
Why not just subscribe to ChatGPT or Claude?
